Maskandi Nation respects the intellectual property rights of artists, producers, labels, writers and all copyright holders. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and South African copyright laws.

Maskandi Nation does not

3. What Happens After We Receive Your Request

  • temporarily remove or disable the content if necessary
  • contact the uploader or content source if clarification is needed
  • notify you about the action taken

If the content belongs to an external platform such as YouTube, you may need to resolve the claim directly through that platform.

4. Counter Notifications

If you believe a takedown request was incorrect, you may file a counter notice with the following:

  • the original Maskandi Nation URL
  • a statement that the removal was wrongful
  • proof of usage rights or fair use claim
  • your signature

5. Repeat Infringers

Users, artists or contributors who repeatedly violate copyright may be blocked from the platform and future submissions may be denied.

We do not control

  • content restrictions
  • removals requested by record labels
  • automated copyright detection
    These are handled by YouTube’s and other platforms’ copyright systems.
